BOFA APPLICATIONS

CNC machining tools
organized by the job.

Start with the material and operation, then move to a published BOFA product series, a technical guide and a quote-ready checklist. Each application page is written for a real purchasing or process decision.

MATERIAL + OPERATION

Find the application
that matches your part.

Use the five guides below to identify material condition, tool geometry, interface and the evidence to include in a quotation. Cutting data remains tied to the exact series chart and machine setup.

HOW TO USE THE HUB

From material
to a clear RFQ.

The fastest route to a useful recommendation is a complete problem statement: material and hardness, operation, dimensions, machine interface, current result and target delivery.

01

Identify the material

State alloy, grade, hardness or heat-treatment condition and any casting skin, scale or cold work.

02

Describe the operation

Give tool diameter, engagement, depth, reach, feature radius, surface target and coolant or extraction method.

03

Connect the evidence

Link the matching product model, technical article and drawing in the technical RFQ.

NEXT STEP

Have a material, model or drawing?

BOFA can review the published series against your actual feature and confirm what information is still missing.
